Magoebaskloof Nature Walks

Howard Jacobson @ Magoebaskloof Nature Walks

Guided nature walks in Woodbush Forest, Haenertsburg Grassland, Iron Crown & Wolkberg. These interpretive walks include the identification of any fauna or flora encountered during them. Experiential learning is key to the understanding of connections between plants & animals.

Aspects that are studied include rocks & minerals, trees & shrubs, wild flowers, mammals, birds, reptiles, frogs, spiders & scorpions, insects & other critters. Nature walks are of 2-4 hours duration & day walks can also be arranged.  Some of the walks include the Woodbush Forest, the Iron Crown & Wolkberg, the Louis Changuion Trail around the village of Haenertsburg, the Swartbos Trail from the Magoebaskloof Hotel & the Otterholt Meander Trail near Cheerio Gardens.
