Long Tom View Site

The Long Tom View site is a picnic spot with a view of the Iron Crown mountain and surrounds where the Boer’s last Long Tom gun was blown up at the end of the Boer War. More details here.

The picnic spot, developed by Rotary Haenertsburg, has tables and benches situated on one of the best views found in the Haenertsburg area. It also shows part of the area’s history dating back to the Boer War at the beginning of the last century. Stunning sunsets can be enjoyed here by visitors
